dell, not picking here, but as you are based in meath(think im right) and you ref down there, im assuming that takes up some of ur spare time, evenings and weekends, do you make ur judgements on hearsay, or are they an educated prediction? cause if they arent on hearsay, wouldnt it be hard to call

CheezyNob,

Dont worry im chilled, only remembered to even look at your reply late on here!

Your view, fair enuf, but hardly a fair critque if based on the Cookstown game - look at any of the papers, they point out how strong a number of the players in defence are including the cornerback and two of the half backs!!

So what game have you based these views on?

As for you point about mugsy, look in to it before you make those statements!lol mugsy has missed league games because of Tyrone involvment.

Mugsy is a good weather footballer for the bigger stage - in the case of div 2, the championship on a roasting day in oneil park with a sizable 1250 crowd (not bad for 1/4final club cship)

So you mention about his league form:

...''tell me (DKB) what has mugsy scored all year in each match?i tink that is the only match wer he has top scored, form play!now you are seriously sayn that your back line isnt to blame??if not why is he not doing this day in day out for cookstown?''

Answer:

Bar the penultimate game v Gortin - O Mulligan (0-1) played in v Bad Conditions look at his league form in the only last three games he actually did play!!

v Killeshil vital league fixture end of aug - O Mulligan (1-2) (Top Scorer)
v Urney start of July O Mulligan(0-5), (Top Scorer)
v Strabane in June O Mulligan (1-5) (1pt off top scorer!)

i could go further back but mmmm looks like mugsy is basically top scorer then 'day in, day out'!!

Im chilled, and as i said fairplay its your view, just not a very well reasoned one!

Dont just make vague statements though without being able to back them up! u end up lookin the fool!lol

Good point their 'watching' ! So Cookstown for the league, Moortown possibly the championship but that fairly open for debate!

Fancy The underdogs tonite.

Killeeshil v Gortin - Killeeshil - Just
Hub a big miss.. but alot of young talent in killeeshil at the minute. Aaron mc kenna, Daniel Mc Gurk, Paul Daly, Marty Curran,Ciaran rafferty. All these boys are u19 and are hungry for success on their first year on the senior stage. Also The experience of shane mallon controlling all aspects of the game superbly. The defence style they play is much greater than of gortins. Half back line The last day in pomeroy were much more aware of the game and striving to go forward any chance they could, this is where i felt killeeshils strongest line was last week. But i do feel gortin will put up a great fight to the last.. with the likes of duirmuid mc nulty, ruairi keenan, kevin mossey. 3 Very confident players on the ball. Could cause problems at the first but i think killeeshil have the defence to adapt to their syyle of play.
