420118 Killeeshils 3 players that were in the states during the summer are returning this thursday and not playing in the championship so mite be worth a few pound on gortin.

Do you mean returning to America this Thursday and thus not playing the championship match? Assuming these lads are heading back out there to play football, what way does that leave them regarding transfers? They did line out against Stewartstown at the weekend, one of them kicked the final two points of the game for a draw.

Ha Ha.

Will not start naming men but
a lot of internal stuff needs sorting out.
Would hope they do manage it,
hate to see teams in such a mess.
Probably too late this year now, need a break
to ease the pain i think.
Don`t know where it started but when no one is
speaking to the manager, the committee should have stepped in before now.

Can they transfer back for two weeks, line out against Cookstown & Stewartstown then just transfer back to their club in America? This isnt something I would know an awful lot about but I was under the impression that there was a bit of red tape to go through and it isnt the sort of process that you can go through then reverse in the space of a couple of weeks.

What way does the transfer scenario work, surly if them lads got a 60day transfer it would have had to been up for them to play on sunday against stewartstown and if it is up how can they return to play in final over in states? Will th lads that are leaving be back for kileshills more important game against moortown?

What was the story in the rock moortown game, were moortown actually going for the win? Can it be expected that they will let kileshil beat them by as much?

After the whole "row" in gortin who is in charge of them for the rest of the season?

it cannot be the case that you can just come back and forward from the US to Ireland as often as you please to play for 2 different teams? if it is there is something badly wrong with the system.

All this talk of 3 kileshill men comong from america and if there playing on saturday or not?! Does it really make a difference? A prime example is killyman 2 seasons ago, they sat bottom of division 2 and yet won the intermediate championship and promotion to division 1! Even this apparent fall out in gortin, does it really matter? Its the men who take to the field at the weekend for all teams involved that determines who will win, not off the field happenings! Hope to make all games this weekend and have a good review for a strong championship bet!

Question is, did Kileeshil break any rules by fielding these lads? I've no idea, but im sure somebody here knows the ruling

killeshil didn't break any rules. If you go to New York on a 90 day sanction you can't transfer back to your home club club for 60 days (at this stage in september, they're gone that long). But once the 60 days are up you can just start playing again without any transfer/paperwork. If you want to read the rules on it go to ny-gaa.org. If they had an intercounty transfer it's a completely different story

No they cant get a tranfser that easy does not work like that takes up to a month or so and if they played championship anywhere else they cant play it at home this year.

I can't see gary reilly being on a 90 day, he played in NY last year so more than likely he has an intercounty transfer. you couldn't transfer for 2 weeks. it takes a while for an intercounty to go through. It's also very easy to look who has a 90day or an intercounty in the last year. Just go on the gaa website, all the names of the players, who they play for and who they transferred to is there

Yeah, Watching has it correct once again, he's right on the money. Big fall out, no one is talking at all. The 5 players at training are comunicating with nods and winks. It all started with one of the players wanting to change training from Fridays to Thursdays so he could get to the big bingo somewhere up the country. It catapulted from there really. He's 150% into his bingo see, the whole things a mess or as eochair would say,a "farse", whatever that is.

is there a real gortin man on this to comment? from what i see 'watching' is a staunch greencastle man and would love to see his neighbours in the slums...not really a fair opinion?!

Paddywhack, I heard they fell out at the lawn bowls gathering!!! Its all wishful thinking by Watching as Gortin are a superior force at the end of the day. Their manager totally outwitted the Greencastle one this year in the league. Hope Gortin go on to win the championship.

I was also asked to check out a few things and did so by a couple of people here. Pomeroy didn't ask for the game to be fixed all them years ago. greencastle fielded a supposed weakened side and we won the game by about 20 points. We also beat Greencastle by 20 points in the first game of the next season as well. What a coincidednce that was - they were supposedly full strength that day to. Lmao.
Greencastle on the other hand in 2007 mysteriously drew with Eglish?? and last year with Eskra, what do you know - another draw. Case far from closed Bobbyb, can of worms opened.
