Got it-for what it's worth I think both will finish level- Cookstown to win a play-off for league and also to win c'ship with Greencastle going up as league runners up

Hows the mood up in greencastle? confident of a league victory if it does come down to the wire, watching or MB? Think if they falter there could struggle with the championship, see moortown and gortin as the dark horses in there!

Intermediate race still very open. None of the teams involved would have a tradition of closing the deal so any could slip up.
Cookstown will probably win the league but no great championship tradition.
I think Moortown have a good chance to go to the final.
Greencastle have never been here before so no knowing how they will cope when the pressure gets really hot esp if they were to lose a league game now....

Cookstown had a good win from looking at the result on the tyrone website there. No greencastle and clan na gael result up yet, heres hoping clan na gael picked up both points!

Anyone got any results?

the result is wrong on tyronegaa, was chatting to a friend from the clann's and he says they won by a point 1-7 to 0-9. wat happened the mighty castle watching? cookstown look to have the league wrapped up with a handy home game against gortin next week! cant see them doing any favours for their rivals!

just as i had expected clan na gael picking up both points! cookstown just need to keep the heads now and collect all 4 points in their remaining 2 games. Dont want to speak too soon but this could be looking good for the town

the harps revival continues but bogey team killeeshil are next up. it's very tight at bottom of table and anything can happen in the next 2 games. who are people's favourites to go down now based on last 2 fixtures?

Not having a go d.bhoy but over the past few months this thread has been all about Greencaslte, there has been so many posts on how great greencastle are and who is playing well etc. now they have had a bit of a slip up people here are asking for match reports and nothing. Many be just some band wagon supports on here.

It is now cookstowns to lose, cant see them sliping up in their last two games. Still alot of ball to be played for Greencastle tho, hopfully can still push up to grade 1 this year :)

never as glad to see greencastle beat in all my life,,,as much as i dislike cookstown,,,i hope to god the win div 2,,,this website is full of the young lads in greencastle on here talking up their team,,sayn there going to do this and that,,ive never seen nothing like it,,,every week straight after they win there on to this site and saying stuff like another 2handy points,,,such and such team are very poor,,,hopefully next year lads, what happens in your training field will stay there,,i find it always works better to keep these things to your team mates,,,,,not to the public,,,,lol

Sorry i am only getting back to yous True Gaels now,
But the woman and i headed of for the night after the game.
Back late last night.

Yes we were beat, no complaints.
There might be a few Castle posters on this site alright,
so what, is this site for posting or not?
Think a few Gaels should take a step back.
As was said before, we are in a position like never before and we are enjoying it.
Wouldn`t it be worse if no one was shouting for us.
As for a few of the new posters giving out about us,
dry your eyes.
We enjoy winning like anyone does, but we are also gracious in defeat.
You failed to point that out during your detailed study of this thread.

As for the game, O`Neill was the only difference.
Was held to one point from play in the first when they had the gale behind them.
He scored some amazing frees from distance.
A quality footballer. 1-6 to 0-3 at the half.
Second turned out to be a good battle, held Clan to one point from play,
again it was O`Neill who broke the line to set it up.
We just came up short, lacking a few stronger men maybe in the conditions.
Plenty of effort though which will stand to us in the championship.
Well done the Clan na nGael. Looking for a playoff place now.
