Funny thing about a league table Paddywhacker is that it doesn't lie. That was a minor blip on our journey to Division 1. Fair play to Killyman a week ago neary beating yous minus five or six of their regular team.

I had to register there as I feel moortownspuds is quite obviously sharpening the knives on our current goalkeeper for what means baffles me as every member of our team trains as hard as the next man and doing it for the good of the sport - not for the likes of you to come on here and wreck any mans confidence.

I don't see him commending this particular goalkeeper for his saves in the first edendork championship match nor any other match this year!! This goalkeeper has earned his place this year by merit and has kept it all year so far apart from injuries. Dont get me wrong everyone can improve and if moortownspuds thinks he can do better then feel free to call down Tuesday night...

350667 League cup is a waste of time, does anyone else agree?

Not really it gives young players a taste of senior football.

Judging by the amount of pull outs last season and how many fixtures will be unfulfilled this season I'd say these league cup competitions are a waste of time

Don`t agree lads.
Think they are very usefull.
Gives a chance for others on the panel to play full sixty minutes.

Agree that they are useful and possibly the last chance saloon for some teams trying to win silverware this year or get a boost before th relegation fight

Another reason if a first team player is coming back from injury good to give a run out in that again to pick up his fitness and like i said young lads as well that sit on the bench all year .

Think its a starred round?
A bit early but anyway:-

Moortown v Cookstown - Moortown (moortown needs points to try for third + home adv and no county men)
Killyman v Strabane - Draw (what bad travellers but its killyman)
Eskra v Edendork - Eskra (home +need of points)
Gortin v Augher - Gortin (will want to put killyman result behind them)
Greencastle v Derrylaughan - Greencastle (can`t afford to slip up, better defence)
killeshil v Clan na Gael - Draw (clans hitting form, no county men)
Pomeroy v Stewartstown - Pomeroy (should of beat eskra easy in last game)
Rock v Urney - Urney (no gourley, urney starting the survivors race)

5 banana skins left.
Could slip on any of them.
Derrylaughan (H), Augher (A), Killyman (H), Clan na Gael (A), Strabane (A).
In a good position all the same.
Looking like Killyman and Stewartstown for the drop at the minute.

I hear the Pomeroy management have been chased.
Don`t think the Eskra defeat went down well.
Leading by a lot then changing team, only to get beat well.
Any truth?????

This could lead to trouble, Lol.
