I saw that the greencastle bench looked a bit shy compared to other games.
I was told that J.McKenna and D McCullagh both got injured in the reserve game.
I was also told that one member was disciplined and dropped from the senior panel.
Ant truth?

watching: True enough. After the lad was sent off the row got up with the ref. He sent the wrong man off. Then he got abused and walked off. No points for either team if the fight before hand was bad enough. If not then Eskra will be awarded the points? There was no fight. He didnt send off wrong man. Player got straight red and then put his hand on ref, dont know if he pushed or what. Killyman players also surrounded ref. Eskra were 3-09 to 1-10 up with less than 4 minutes to go. The abandonment had nothing to do with Eskra, so therefore they should be awarded the points, which they were going to get anyway.

my last message was edited. The Killyman manager gettin in the refs face, coupled with what i said earlier were probably the reasons for the abandonment

The Greencastle defence was always very tight
and give little away.
I see young Carson not making it now and
still without D.McDermott.
To hold most teams to less than 10/11 points is some going.
Although the forwards stepped up yeaterday,
thought Coyle was great.
Things coming good at the right time.
As i said before its all about timing?

Was big R Laverty back playing yesterday?
Should help turn Urney around if he was.
Did J Laverty get hurt?

Great victory for the team on Sunday against Killeeshil, a good all round team performance. Moortown will be a tough one at the weekend after their victory over Edendork in the championship.

What way is Ronan Lafferty playing these days? I haven't played with him in 4 years and at that time there was nobody better at fielding the ball.

PGD.
R Laverty played his first game since the Moortown game
at the start of the year.
Big player for Urney.
Not sure how he performed,
will need DBPC to speak up on this.

What way are yous fixed away to Eskra Murphys-Law.
They will be fighting hard for points at home.

The Eskra and Killyman game, when will the hearing for this be heard? After reading various reports and talking to players it seems Killyman could be in a lot of trouble. Thats all they need they already on their way to division 3. Winning the intermediate championship 2 years ago prob the worst thing that ever happened them

I fail to see how winning the Intermediate Championship is the worst thing that ever happened to Killyman considering they finished bottom of the league and would have been relegated to Division 3 instead of promoted to Senior if they hadn't have won the Championship. In that case;

Best case scenario: they'd be back in Division 2 more than likely still struggling against relegation
Worst case scenario: They'd still be stuck in Division 3.

Given the option, I think they'd take an Intermediate Championship medal 2 years ago over a possible Junior league or Championship medal last year. I know I would have.

The Pomeroy/Eskra game on this evening unless things ave been changed at the Co board meeting. Will be a tough one because of Eskra being in relegation trouble. Cookstown should go two clear at the top this weekend. Moortown should scrape past Greecastle i hope.

Urney v Killeshil - Urney
Edendork v Rock - Edendork
Eskra v Pomeroy - Pomeroy
Greecastle v Moortown - Moortown
Augher v Stewartstown - Stewartstown
Clan na Gael v Cookstown - Cookstown
Derrylaughan v Strabane - Derrylaughan
Gortin v Killyman - Gortin

I forgot that Moortown won't have PJ available and is surely damaging to their league chances. Should this game be going ahead as Greecastle dont have county men? I Still fancy Moortown, they would have more to offer in their forward line and Greecastle are missing Danny McDermott in the back line. Cookstown 2 clear on Friday mark my word!!

Eskra will get the points and the person you used threating behavouir will get six months and whoever spat on ref should get life .
