Macs have gone very quiet.

I actually pity you as you are in for a hell of a trouncing in the all britain. Have to say we have the best goalkeeper in warks after another fine performance on sunday.

gael2200,as for your comment about the legs being gone, yours should be fairly fresh as your club has only fielded in 3 games all year,a disgrace.
I seem to remember you being fairly quite on here for 5 or 6 weeks when Macs beat you in the 1st round of the c`ship.
As for the all britain its nice to be able to play in it,as Macs have done on a regular basis over the years.
Just wondering what you have left to play for this year, oh i nearly for got,the losers c`ship cup.
See next year if you are able to field.

gael 2200, and i clearly remember you stating what EGB were going to do to Macs in the first round of the c`ship, and then go on to win it, that didn`t happen then you suddenly disappeared, when you came back you put all your support behind RC,that also failed, then surprise, surprise you then support FM against Macs, only to fail again. As i said earlier enjoy your victory & see you next year if you are able to field.MACS COUNTY CHAMPIONS AGAIN.
Long time ago since EGB could say that.

gael2200 let your football do the talking. congrats on your win on sunday but Macs won the championship fair n square. As for the All Britain I'm sure we would all love to represent our clubs on the national stage but its Macs who are there on merit yet again and we should support them as representatives of this county. i think it will be a close game against the Scottish side with maybe Macs as slight underdogs but I believe they have the players to compete and it would be good to see them go a stage further this year

gael2200,you seem to be missing the point,MACS COUNTY CHAMPIONS AGAIN.
Now, is there any chance you can crawl back under your little rock. Or go away & hibernate for the winter & see if you can come back with a team to fulfil all of your fixtures for next year, not when it suits you.

Hopefully our new recruitment officers can keep up the good work!

As for hibernating for the winter, i don't think so. We have had 2 years off! There's plenty of work to be done!

I didnt get to see the game on Sunday but i believe Macs were missing a few, can anyone tell me who was missing? I would of though they would of been at full strength with the All Britain coming up but maybe the were resting a few. I also heard that EGB have signed a new lad from Ireland that played in midfield, is he as good as the EGB lads say he is?

How does everyone see the Intermediate final going this Sunday? After knocking out the two favourites St Marys and St Barnabas i fancy Mitchels to win this by
5+. Mitchels look to have quality all over the park and wont allow the Brendons forwards any space. For Brendons to have a chance Mossy Harnett needs a big performance but if Lyons is marking him he wont be given any space at all!

Macs werent missing anyone, our new lad has to be the best midfielder in warks by miles we dominated there and most other positions, good luck to mitchels on sunday.

Hang on here for a second, I know I've been away for a while but when did EGB lads wake up. I am all in favour of letting teams enjoy their win but there is no need for the manner, have a bit of dignity about your win and pride for your club - All you seem to have done is make your victory a Macs bashing exercise. Don't get me wrong, it was well deserved. Having struggled to field in various competitions at all mens levels you must really get to grips with the clubs direction.

As for the All-Britain, I fear Macs (whilst dominant in W'Shire for the past decade) will not be able to hold the pace this year. That's not a slight on Macs but the high standard of Scottish Football. But good luck lads, prove us wrong!!

gael2200, correct me if i am wrong, but it was the 2008 (last years) Fr.Forde cup that you were playing in on sunday.
So your new superstar would have been playing illegally, would he not ??? A simple yes or no will do.

Intermediate Final could be anyones game I'd say. Although I'd expect Mitchells to take it by 2 or 3. Anyway doesn't this mean that Brendans are going to be playing Senior next year?

Just back from Erdington. We got down there for our game at 2pm. We were then told at 1.55pm that EGB didn't have a team. Absolute joke and pretty embarrassing on the whole. I don't suppose they'll manage to field for their return league game in Nottingham either. Thank you for the notice that you didn't have a team. What is the County Board going to do about this? It is a farce and is the main reason why people give up playing Gaelic football.
