Caelois just read the Colmcille notes on Hoganstand and the team they played against Clonguish appears to have been their first choice. Who else are they missing? Did Clonguish score three late goals to win? On the county scene i think we can be optimistic going into the qualifiers. There are alot of very average teams we could play and if we can avoid a couple of sharks (Armagh,Monaghan,Cork or Kry,Dry or Tyr) and hopefully get a home draw then we can win round 1. I thought the loser of Dub/Meath would be a shark but after yesterday Meath are very average.

I reckon what Caelois means is that colmcille are still celebrating last years win, they haven got going this year at all!
They would wanna get in order quick or could see them getting beat by both dromard and mull and making an early exit from the champ.

No suprises in the league this weekend, clonguish, dromard, mullinaghta, ballymahon and abbey all looking strong for champ....

Colmcille are struggling at the back with injuries. 2 of the backs that played against Clonguish weren't even togging out in the championship last year while a third was playing his second ever game as a back. They are actually missing about 9 from last years panel through injury, retirement and emmigration.
Will struggle big time to even get out of their group let alone reach another county final
