Bald Eagle - that wagon wheels theory is like the episode in Father Ted where they were on holidays in the caravan.. Its a similar case to "Near... / Far away".. As in - its not the wagon wheels getting smaller - its your hands (and maybe your belly!) that are getting bigger.... Surprised nobody has mentioned the great unmentionable of biscuits.. Bourbon creams.. they're akin to the devil's ***** of the biscuit world.. bad news altogether...

Was anyone else here ever told the story as a kid that this mad young fella saw Superted one day and then tried to fly with a wee cape by jumping from the landing (ironically) in his house?
