Tyrone To Gaza

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Well folks, from today Saturday 6th, I will have a lorry parked at the Oaks Centre in Dungannon where People can come along and donate clothes, blankets, shoes, or whatever else they can for the people of Gaza left homeless following the recent war.
I have a Rocwell lorry secured for the trip, and when we reach Gaza, the lorry will be left with the people of Gaza. I will be joining a convoy of 90 vehicles leaving London next Saturday 14th on a "Lifeline Of Aid Convoy For Gaza", organised by George Galloway.
Already, O'Neills Strabane have donated 500 jerseys, and over 350 jerseys donated from various clubs all over Ireland including Sligo Co. Board who have donated 150 childrens playing kits. So if you have any spare jerseys from Club or County, please bring them along for the people of Gaza.
So, spread the word, and do whatever you can for the people of Gaza.

John

Managed to convince our Union to give £10,000 to the fund, and £8,000 last year.

I have a few old Antrim and Galway jerseys but I doubt if the people in Gaza would even wear an Antrim jersey LOL.

Great work, keep it going, and I don't know about the BBC and Gaelic games, but shame on them for not broadcasting the appeal.

George Galloway! This is the man who was 'allegedly' taking money off Saddam and says Stalin was one of his heroes and is part of a party that has jihadists as members! Eh, no thanks.

Worthwhile cause indeed. I'm not sure who to donate to. I don't really want to favour one side in the war over there as both can be equally blamed. The israelis left homeless etc deserve our help aswell.

hurlingdub..whats your problem??..the man is trying to do something for the people of gaza..just a humnitarian response..or maybe just like the rest of your d4 cronies..you'd rather sit back and let these people starve and die from the cold after they've been blown to bits by rockets that have been maufactured here in the west by companies that have been propped up by our malfunctioning banks and multinational companies operating in this country

Hurling dub, surprised at you. Because he opposed the war the "allegations" about Saddam arose. He was possibvly the only man in parliament who did not get money from our friend and staunch ally, Saddam. Well he was our friend and staunch ally when the Ayatollah was considered to be a threat. Things change rapidly in politics. Saddam was getting his missiles from Short's in Belfast, and his palace was built by a company which is two hundred yards up the street from me. You should expect hypocrisy in politics.

And the respect party has few jihadists, bar possibly me.
