Your review of Portlaoise, you siad it has a "gaol", i would be guessing that you meant Jail.
Possibly the worst attempt of spelling a word I have ever seen!

Is this guy for real?? ClareFootball. Just google the word gaol and see what comes up lad!

But also, Duffy89, I appreciate the praise of OMoore Park but ur review of the Town is unfair. Portlaoise has TWO prisons a Supermacs AND a Papa Johns pizza...So there heehee

Yeah i shoulda said GAA stadium.

Clare football, apology accepted,Gaol is the gaelic way in saying it is all

I was in Fraher Field in Dungarvan in 02 for the all-ireland intermediate final.Has a long stand at the side of the pitch, its situated in Dungarvan town, the stand is alright but the rest is just grass terracing

think Walsh Park is the same, but then again Waterford county board are wanting to build a 30,000 all seater stadium on the Waterford by-pass or out in WIT

I was watchin the premiership there last week and I seen Fulham's craven cottage,it has a capacity of about 25,000,but when you compare that to we'll say a 50,000 Gaelic Grounds in Limerick or Pearse Stadium in Galway,it makes the two of them look awful,I think JP McManus would have deep pockets like Mohammed Al Fayed,25,000 full stadium is better than a 50,000 half filled stadium

199779 Dr Cullen Park:only seats i'd reckon 5,000,and if your in the rain your in trouble cause the rest is terraced,no pubs or clubs even close to it

Nowlan Park:has'nt changed since the 60's,excellent situation in the middle of the city

Have you not been there since the 60s

I'm over reacting sayin since the 60's i'll admit that but if your gona pay the same price to get in there as ya would for Croke Park for the leinster semi-final ye'll know what I mean,

Wexford vs Waterford in the 2003 all-Ireland round 3,great match but ye'll get soaked if you didnt get in half an hour before the game......I stand by what I said about Dr Cullen Park though, great atmosphere when the greatest comeback since Lazarus happened there though

Clare man

You walked into that one but fair play you took it on the chin and came back so respect and pride retored.

My understanding is that Gaol is the correct spelling but that Jail is a corruption, probaby American english that has taken precedence over time.

Tuam is in need of a serious overhaul. Pearse Staduim is a class set up but I think Tuam is the real home of Galway football.

Its no co-incidence that if you beat Galway, the extra empasis is put "and in Tuam".

Unfortuanately the last time I could say that was 1993 and if they don't develop the ground soon it may be a thing of the past.

Any Galwegians have any comment?

Pearse Park in Longford is a lovely little ground recently completely redeveloped. Small capacity though. Parking is crap though for a big game.

For club grounds. St Faithleachs in Roscommon is beautiful club ground for a small rural club. Never at a game there but every time I pass it I look at it with envy

drogheda is aful and whats worse there's so much hassle over it and who owns it and what should be done with it and good money wasted on it.
we should have had taken an oportunity to put a stand round one of the pitches in our new training centre in darver which is centrally located and getting money pumped into it. but then this is louth and we don't do things logically!!

Wexford Park:possibly the best pitch with DE crappiest stadium

Sorry Duffy, I'm at a loss to undersand this one. Could you explain it a bit further. In what way should Wexford Park be improved to meet your expectations?

Drogheda is by far the worst i have been to. Louth has great support and they deserve better. Who is at fault for this ?

A little off-topic here...but Clare football, you might be off the hook here with 'worst comment ever' label!

Had this cracker thrown at me in a discussion about other sports allowed in croker. I asked a lad with a very backwards view what century he was living in and i got this classic!

Alrite the Main stand is grand but thertes no seats in it and its bloody hard to sit on,when you consider O'Moore Park and Pearse Stadium were built around the same time and the fact your never aloud to go onto the terraces EVER.
