Depends on the level you watch really, i've seen some rubbish ladies matches and some fantastic games at various levels. In saying that i've seen some rubbish matches in the qualifiers lately too! Bald Eagle (None) - Posts: 1009 - 04/02/2009 10:16:51 197683 Link 0 |

i know the new rules in for the league are quite contentious with alot of people though as evidenced by the weekends action, they greatly improve the fluidity of the game something which I enjoy about ladies football. What are your arguments for your opinion? teamplayer (Mayo) - Posts: 10 - 04/02/2009 11:08:03 197739 Link 0 |

what! my god, i know the ladies game isn't as physical as our male counterparts, but to say the game is rubbish is the most stupid thing i ever read!!! how you can tar a whole sport cause of a few games ya seen i dont know. if thats what your basis is on, i'm surprised your not calling the mayo seniors *****! at least your women can kick a ball, let alone win something. you've some neck!! lino_de_legend (Dublin) - Posts: 816 - 04/02/2009 12:44:35 197855 Link 0 |

Alot better than watching the Ulster teams, no endless fouling and dragging and they actually kick the ball from time to time bad.monkey (USA) - Posts: 4649 - 04/02/2009 13:46:43 197945 Link 0 |
Yawn...getting boring now paddyogall. Nobodys rising to the bait. Why do you hate women so much, had you your heatbroken many moons ago by a young Cailín, maybe your masculinity suffered in the past and you feel the need to put women down inorder to make up for something your lacking in...or maybe you just bat for the other team and despise women plain and simple. Ah well whatever the reason it's not big (bet you've heard that one before) and it's not clever, so catch yourself on. Niamh (Derry) - Posts: 2397 - 04/02/2009 14:24:03 197989 Link 0 |
I went to a ladies game once where the half forward wanted to go home and change as one of her team mates had on the exact same outfit. Fredthered (Donegal) - Posts: 1144 - 04/02/2009 14:32:20 198000 Link 0 |

That must be the most sexist comment iver ever heard in my life...You are a disgrace to the GAA in my opinion. Women footballers deserve the same respect that the men get they put in just as much effort and for what people to slag off their standard of football. Ann Dooher is one of the best women fotballers in Ulster and Tyrone and id say she'd give some men footballers a run for their money Ballinderry14 (Derry) - Posts: 47 - 04/02/2009 15:13:43 198048 Link 0 |
