Saw the kileedy team play about a month ago. Look very fit and have good scoring forwards.

Is Tom Condon after appealing his red card and Is he ok to play against Mungret?

I heard this morning that he ahs appealed it - This shouldn't be allowed and ano player or club should be above the discipline system the GAA has in place. Thuis is a disgrace and Knockaderry would struggle to beat Mungret without him. I hope the county board don't give in to this

Dont Know if Tom Condon appealed his, heard Mike Keane was appealling his so if he does Tom Condon should appeal his, a brutal decision on the night by the linesman anyway

i heard there was war at the match, between killeedy and bbrown.the killeedy were 1 point in the lead with time up.
the goalie for bbrown took a puck out and a killeedy fella hit it over the sideline, the linesman (who was from killeedy by the way)
said it was a killeedy ball but the said otherwise, bally then went up the field and scored the leveling point.

ballybrown 3-11 - 3-11 killeedy

Well done to knockaderry on qualifing for knock out stage.Monagea showed there inexperience at intermediate level but hopefully it will be a learning experience for a youthful Monagea team.

Glenroue 14pts - NCW 9pts

Glenroue were eventually winners of this game played in Ballyagran last Friday night. Glenroue lined out with their two county stars and what looked like a strong team on paper, NCW had an unfamiliar look about them with 4-5 players making their championship debuts.

First half was even enough with both sides lacking a cutting edge in front of goal, Glenroue lead at the break aided by a strong breeze.
NCW started brightly in the second half and reduced the score to 2 points, but that was the closest that they got.

Some crazy late tackles by some NCW players, led to easy frees and Glenroue pulling away to win by 5 points.

NCW destined for relegation for the first time in the intermediate grade. Only plus for NCW was the return of some players from injury. I think they have enough to stay up this year, but only just.

Glenroue won't have too many teams worrying about meeting them after this performance.

i think quaters are pallasgreen vs knockaderry and monaleen vs south liberties.... the other 2 are not certain yet until hospital and caherline play...
dromin athlacca meets the runner up of that group and ballybrown meets the winner....
4 teams in relegation are mungret, cappamore, ballybricken and newcastle....

Quarter Finals

Group Winners v Runners Up

South Liberties v Pallasgreen
Monaleen v Knockaderry
Dromin Athlacca v Hospital/Herbertsown or Caherline
Hospital/Herbertstown or Caherline or Glenroe v Ballybrown

Group 4 is still to be decided with the postponed Hospital/Herbertown v Caherline game postponed. Hospital are top and stay there if they win but are not necessarily through is they lose. Caherline can finish top if they beat H/H by two points putting H/H second. A Caherline win by five points or more would also see Glenroe overtake H/H with H/H slipping to third. Caherline need any kind of win to qualify. Glenroe are currently second and need a H/H win or a Caherline win by more than five to stay there.

Relegation
Mungret v Cappamore
Ballybricken/Bohermore v Newcastlewest.

Knockaderry have thrown my quarter/relegation predictions right off. Fair play to them. Still think the Relegation playoffs will go the same route with Ballybricken going down.
Also think Pallas will still come through as will Monaleen. Caherline to beat HH and possibly do Glenroe a favour.

My prediction for the semi's remain the same:
Dromin Athlacca
Caherline
Pallasgreen
Monaleen
