Congrats to Rinn Mhaoile on winning the west board league final today. Game played in a soaked Ros a'mhil. They outplayed Salthill. It was 11 points to 2 at one stage. Salthill scored 1-2 near the end. Tommy Walsh started at centred half back but was all over the pitch and scored 6 points. Great to see him in good form.

I had SBB on the ear phones, An Spidéal finally lost to St Kerrils. The winning point coming in the 7th minutes of injury time. An Spidéal will now become St Kerrils fans, as St Kerrils are in the north board league final. SBB was said that An Spideal should have won handy. Anyone there? I was getting texts from my mate during the mach but none afterwards. Croi bhriste dude.

Congrats to Rinn Mhaoile. Had a long time to concentrate on the league since getting knocked out of the championship, they used the time well.

SBB, lán le seafóid. I was at the game and I thought it was tit for tat the whole game, one team going ahead, the other coming back straight away etc. The Kerills forwards were very impressive, their full forward won a lot of ball put into him, very skillful & strong and the wing forwards worked liked dogs. The full back cleaned up to. The Kerills freetaker was on top form too and had to put up with the some of the Spiddal players giving him abuse before he took the last free in Injury tme as he was a long time waiting to take it. Spiddal's downfall came from a few things - the fact they lack a freetaker, I think they had 3-4 different ones today. Another thing is they kept dropping the ball short into the keepers hands when it should have been easily going over the bar, I counted 6/7 times this happened, that must have disheartened the rest of the players.

Other than that, I thought it was 50/50 and could have gone either way. A clean game, the ref was not great but at the same time he didnt side with anyone. Im not sure if Kerills and/or Spiddal will make any inroads in Intermediate but Good Luck to Kerills, Im sure they'll give it one hell of a go. As for Spiddal - Beidh lá eile ag an bpaorach!

st kerrills Vs athenry in the north board final is on this sat.

this is regardless of the hurling relegation battle pearses are in!

heard from a reliable source that kerrills will not get any more

fixtures re shuffled to suit themselves.it is because of them that the

league has dragged on so long.

fair play to athenry footballers. it is some achievement to have got to intermediate football.

what are their chances up there??

ive heard that they have a good team and underage coming through too.

will be hard to balance hurling and football though id say.
