Next year will be between oughterard and carna , with leitir in with a good shout, oughterard have to travel to carna and leitir next year which could be stumbling block, st.james have no chance, as was shown when oughterard bet them by 30 points second last game of season, most talented team in intermediate at the mo

id say all clubs will be down players, nothing new for clubs west of Oughterard-An Spideal. Not a year goes by without western clubs losing 2/3 players

Are any of the North/East Board Teams interested in moving to the West Board. I reckon Oranmore/Maree will have to move back and I make out Athenry would be the next choice.

At the moment there are 6 Clubs in the West and 10 in the North.

Oughterard are the team to watch.i also feel that kilconly will be out of the running this year.they had a marvellous chance last year but they blew it.they will find it hard to build up that same momentum.
I also heard that Alan mulholland is taking over oughterard so that will have to we positive in the quest for senior status.

iv been told that none of the lettermore team are leaving next year and that they will have a player coming back rom australia along with a few long term injured players returning includeing there top scorrer and if this is the case they will be strong next year if they get there act together and play to there potential.

when oughterard are expected to do well, they let you down. When you underestimate them they'll take you. Dont agree that Lettermore have to get act together, saw them a few times this year, they seemed a well knit and together camp. Each year a team no one is expecting makes the leap up, 2006, Menlough. 2007, Monivea, 2008 Michaels. Ill be watching James in 2009!!

Its all talk of wet board teams winning the league here. I think the fact alone that there are 10 board teams suggests that there is more likely to be a winner from there. With the 2 teams coming down from senior both in the north I would fancy monivea to have a great shout of winning it if they get their act together. Lots of good minors coming through there

Letir mor....in fairness they were looking and playing really well at start of season only for them to get get an awful lot of injuries to key players.if the lads can come back to the level they were at they would have a great chance i think anyways

Just been told that Patrick Mark Faherty's father Ciaran Faherty is set to become the new Lettermore manager. Is this true?
