O'Byrne Cup final, Parnell Park, 2008. Longford had been ahead from the 1st minute and the game is heading into injury time, ball goes out over the end line at the Donnycarney end, umpire does nothing, Dublin player brings it back in feeds it to Jayo and Bang! Goal! Longford go up the pitch and score a point but only 2 in it. Fennell wins kick-out, runs through the Longford defence like Moses through the Red Sea, all the Longford backs go towards him and at the last second Fennell lays off to an unmarked Jayo at the end of the square who makes no mistake and scores the winning goal. Still disgusted.
