Mike Elwood good player but i think if he doesnt start midf he wont start as galway have some highly talented players for midfield
I dont think he is a forward that will do much scoring either as players like O'Griofa,Conlon,Bodkin can score for fun instead of him
He could work as a paul galvin type player in the half forward line cleaning up loose ball and playing around the middle

I agree what we need is a team that when the big day comes will have the fire in the belly to get stuck in not sure bout ó Gríofa vey talented player can be and has been contained by quicker defenders ---. O h'Eochaidh is a brillaint player no doubts but can out fielded by players of equal height ,briallaint fielder nonethe less but is haunted with injuries .

Knowledge what are you on about?obviously if the lads from jarlaths are picked they must be good enough but if they didnt go 2 ny trials and got picked its a diffrent story...and what you were saying about O'Griofa,he is one of the best forwards on the panel and is very very fast and still young.
Also saying that conlon is the only good forward from west??What about the minor player of the year Patrick Sweeney and O'Connell,Wynne,Conroy etc...
