Weve a very strong minor team probably our best since ohara and taylor were minor, but very tough draw. We won manning cup and got to tedd webb final last yr plus the best players on last yr minor team are underage again ie david maye and johnny kelly. Should be a good opener so.

Sligo are no good, didnt galway county side hammer sligo(the whole county) two years ago.pretty much the same team.

galway would be better off concentrating on their football then over hyping their underage sides,how can piling extra pressure on 17,18 years olds improve them as footballers?

Should be a very strong team this year backboned by the west based players.people talk about peadar óg o griofa(who i'll admit is good) but his clubmate fiach o bearra is a very skillfull/quick player and should be in with a shout.david black from clifden is a terrier and is by far the best defender minor this year in galway.ronan conlon is a tidy little player from salthill who's worth watchin.was in ballyhaunis this year watching the ted web finals and thought that the city and west full back line espically the corner backs were outstanding not giving their men an inch.anybody know their names?

theres only one keeper for the job and thats peter feeney had a class game at trials on sat plus the only keeper at trials with senior experience enough said!!!!!!

Peter Feeney isn't as good as TJ Forde, Maghnus Breathnach or Greg Sheedy.
I do agree that he has improved a lot but would still be surprised if he got called up.

kilkerrin/clonbernes adrain warde and fergal o' rielly shud be two certs for the team both very good defencive players. were outstanding for there minor team this year.
