They beat Sligo in the minor league 2-13 to 1-6. Wasnt at the game myself,how did they play,who impressed?

8 from the north and 7 from the west.
no sign of brian flaherty from monivea.
one thing i noticed is the amount of players from the lower divisions. killererin had two togged and they are poor this year. then the likes of the A teams claregalway,mountbellew and headford have nobody.

I heard Eric Monahan scored 1-3 the last day!looks like hes going to be the main scoring threat with Sweeney and O Griofa!This cant be the finished panel can it because they're missing some serious players like Conor O Halloran, Gary Sweeney and Brian Flaherty!And as for no Headford players on the team,none of them are anywhere near good enough!

heard the county minor team got beat by st pauls oughterard on monday night by 6 points only missing 2 players (the sweeneys) a b collages team beating a county minor team like that is not good enough no matter if it was a challenge or not. best of luck to st pauls on saturday v maynooth hope ye do the county proud again

I have to say i disagree with northern. Any one that has seen daniel mannion of killererin play will know that he is a good player and has a lot of talent. Michael tracey was the other killererin player and he hasnt got as much experience as mannion but northern the 2 killererin lads were not poor..
Hopefully all the lads will display more team work on saturday against mayo and get a win from it.

breno9 i didnt mean that the lads are poor i meant that killererin are poor. i know what i said doesnt make sense really.you could have the worst minor team in the county with one or two brillaint players. what i meant was that its strange to see the teams up in A without players on the squad. if claregalway won the league at u14 and u16 how can they not have at least one player good enough to be on the squad.
