Divisional Cups Football & Hurling Galway

(Oldest Posts First)

Is it now time to have a serious conversation about making an effort to form some sort of Divisional Cups for Hurling and Football to allow high achieving club players to play at a higher level but trapped in a Junior, Intermediate or outside the top 6 senior clubs. Especially considering the restructuring of the hurling grades this year and the number of footballers playing in Dublin now in an attempt to access a greater level. Initiatives like this working in Kerry & Cork and more recently Meath and Roscommon.

Well my club would struggle to win a game then if they ever got promoted if that's the case

While it has been in in Roscommon for a few years it has most certainly not worked - it's been a farce tbh

You can't have Divisions on the middle of the Club Championship.
You have a Quarter Final ,IFC or JFC, next week.
I'm not interested in being on a Divisional team this week.
