looking at the game sunday, enjoyed it, but it struck me how so many lads seemed to be only able kick with 1 foot, ud expect at this level most would be able kick with both feet Stmunnsriver (Wexford) - Posts: 3103 - 14/04/2026 16:58:49 2666423 Link 2 |

I don't think players would ever try to kick with both feet, I'm sure they would fall on the ear if they tried kicking with both.

Being able to kick off 'either' foot is one thing, but being able to do it well from distance and under pressure is another. You'll find that most forwards can kick scores off their weaker foot from around 25 yards. They'll do it if they have no alternative. That's a marked difference compared to years ago, when most players only kicked off their stronger foot at all times. WanPintWin (Galway) - Posts: 2832 - 15/04/2026 12:22:20 2666539 Link 1 |

Armagh 0-13 Tyrone 0-10 it was a contest low on any highlights and much to enjoy. The Tyrone goal out of the blue with minutes to go and extra time was much improved and a more enjoyable viewing.
