Please point out where I said that children shouldn't be allowed to play hurling?

You didnt. But you name checked a county where many children can't play hurling unless they drive a very long way to do it.

Ballygunner are the favourites going into the final. Hurling could do with a good final.

Not sure what you mean there. Hopefully the Football club final is a good one too. Football definitely needs it. Of the finals so far we had 2 good hurling finals, one ok football final, although the wides were shocking, and one that was such a poor game I gave up watching it.

Not a classic but in Waterford we have played too many great games and lost. Again we got to witness the best goalie in hurling for the last 15 years.

Congrats ballygunner..outstanding club side..I love that there is never any panic,they just keep doing what they are good at..I'll mention another under stated player in Ian Kenny..
Canuck what is going to happen with their 2nd team because as far as I know the same team can't be used again if they are not promoted to senior..
They are blessed to have the group at present and I know they have others of20/21 who are outstanding hurlers..

I haven't heard the answer to next year and their second team. The could have possibly won both All-irelands this year not taking from anyone but were probably the best Intermediate. Billy O Keefe was club player of the year in Ireland and could not get his place the next year. I predict when beaten it will be in Waterford despite all the doom and gloom about the standard. Fourmilewater are building a young team and De La Salle are coming again.
