Wouldn't be in same currency as Cian Lynch.

Different type of hurler. TK much more of a scorer. Both magicians in their own right. There were days when Clare were up against Limerick at their peak and Tony looked like the best player on the pitch.

I think he would to be honest. They're both amazing but I'd argue Cian lynch is surrounded by stars, tk is not. Having said that my favourite non Wexford player of the current era would be Shane O'Donnell Doylerwex (Wexford) - Posts: 4002 - 22/09/2025 09:14:53 2637004 Link 0 |

Thats a fair assessment, two slightly different style players too. Tk is not going to pass the ball hes gonna put the head down and go for it, Lynch is nearly always gonna lay it off to a shooter. They must be the two must skilful players I've seen in my lifetime. Should both get statues down the line.

I don't believe any current or past player deserves a statue to be frank. ExiledInWex (Dublin) - Posts: 1507 - 22/09/2025 20:23:20 2637118 Link 0 |

Would the GAA pay for it I wonder? Or would it be fundraisers?
