Replying To Yellowhelmet: "Going up in hope more than expectation. Looking for a good performance irrespective of result.
Not related to hurling but I was driving from enniscorthy to New Ross yesterday and saw a hand made sign near clonroche saying that Wexford camogie protects bullies. Anyone know what that is about." Haven't a clue

No idea how we're ahead, don't think he's been that much of an issue but would nearly consider taking off Darragh Carley at this stage because he's on a yellow, didn't cop what their second yellow was for but the first one for them was a needless tackle
First goal was poor defending, got caught with two men under the one ball, think Conor Foley went for a ball and missed it and that was the second goal
Don't like how we set up off puck-outs, it's too easy and they were working the ball out the pitch with minimal effort, should be able to push up with the extra man
Think we've been beaten in too many physical battles in the forwards, need to improve there and need to start putting in better ball
They've hit some very poor wides although we hit some bad ones at the start of the half
Pedestrian enough game tbh

Slow start but you'd have to be happy with that

Penalty given for forward charging. Absolute nonsense.

That was very saucy. As usual we let them out of jail but I'd have taken that result this morning.

Ah yes, take the point. We need something out the game in Ennis now. Can't help feeling we left it behind us. Some bad wides and penalty saved. Probably shouldve made sure the ball went dead the last strike at the posts. I know Exiled, more ifs and buts and maybes.

Think we didn't make enough use of the spare men, should've been able to work the ball to the free man the whole time but seemed like we'd just go short off the puck-out and then launched it in towards the full-forward line, that's a decent enough strategy (if you're able to do it) 15vs15 but with a man up and then two men up, we should've been able to work a score every single time
Two men and one ball for the first goal, think Conor Foley had a swing at a ball and missed for the second, had more than enough chances to get rid of the ball for the third, and then the fourth goal was very poor considering we were two men up and Hetherton had the ball in the corner up against two
Thought Darragh Carley was solid enough, Conor Foley was better in the second half, Simon Roche was solid, Richie Lawlor was good, Rory Higgins was lively enough when he came on, Conor Hearne had a very good came, and Kevin Foley took his chances off limited ball
Donohoe was up against it against Hetherton but tbf, he's not a full-back and I think us conceding their puck-out for a long time didn't help, Chin was quiet enough by his standards, think Tucker and Wickham learned today about the step-up in standard and the level they need to get to
Darren Codd was bright enough in the first half
Suppose that outside of Seán Currie and Conor Burke, that was a strong enough Dublin side, we need Jippo in a bad way because teams will get a lot of joy by going long against us as things stand
Frustrating that we didn't get the two points but that was a young enough team we had out there so the experience wouldn't have done us any harm, let's hope we can get Jacko, Jack Redmond, Cian Molloy, Jippo, CBD, Seán Rowley, and Cillian Byrne back into the squad soon enough, fingers crossed on that count

Jacko will be back for championship, Patsy was back trainings last week which is greatly. We'll see jippo for championship which is an absolutely massive boost, Cillian Byrne played against tipp, Cian got minutes tonight. Not sure about CBD and Rowley right now though.
I'm much much happier with the league after that performance. We're improving and tonight will have done a lot for those young lads. I'm starting to look forward to the championship now

Another day we completely let Dublin out of jail so frustrating . Would have took a draw going up yesterday though. If Clare win next week in Carlow are they already promoted?

I don't think anybody believed we would win. We didn't but ŵe could have and should have. Hats off to the lads last night. They showed great fighting spirit and to get a draw in Croke park with a very inexperienced team against an almost full strength Dublin side was commendable. A bit more experience and I think we would have taken the two points. We were shaky enough in our full and half back lines at times and it needs addressing. Jippo would have been a towering strength at full back but hopefully he will be back soon and steady the ship. Now it's on to Ennis to take on the Banner boys. Obviously it won't be easy but I wouldn't completely write off our chances of putting one over on them next week. We are making progress and we must be patient.

It's a huge task but there's a chance they might already be preparing for a league final which would certainly help.

I think their only other starter missing apart from Sean Currie, who has a fracture, was Paddy Doyle. Colin Currie has left their panel. Exiled and Barney would know more?
