Just looking through old GAA programmes even recent ones as of the last few years. If anyone is looking for any programmes that they are missing from a particular collection here people could maybe discuss selling or trading their programmes that other users may be looking for. If anyone wants to post about programmes they are looking for other users could maybe let them know if they are willing to give them away or vice versa. gaa.88 (Kerry) - Posts: 5 - 08/07/2025 14:46:34 2624400 Link 0 |
The recent programmes are rubbish compared to the older ones. CnocÁine (Limerick) - Posts: 13 - 08/07/2025 22:48:34 2624507 Link 0 |
Ye that might be true however many people still collect them and of games that they were at. If anyone is looking for any old or new programmes here you can do so. Myself I'm looking for a few ones at the moment. If anyone sees this and has some ladies football final programmes from 2014,2015,2016,2017, and 2018 please let me know

Why you think that is. Don't usually get gaa programmes so can't really comment. KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 3789 - 09/07/2025 13:22:27 2624610 Link 0 |
Good question. I think it might be because supporters bring their phones and the Internet gave us loads of the information you could get on programmes. They're also more distracted by phones to spend the time reading the programmes besides the team pages. My Dad used to tick off the scores, as they went in, on the programme. I used to love reading player profiles, their occupation, height and weight. I started going to matches in the seventies when there were a lot more farmers, builders and other manual labourers playing than nowadays when it seems like a lot of students and teachers on intercounty teams. Selling more or not they're still a great memento from games.
