Hard to disagree with much there, kilmessan will have to play very well to beat Kiltale in semi final. Hard to see Kildalkey getting it together in timr for a quarter final v trim , trim are Kildalkey bogey team the last few years as well. I think ratoath will beat either of them in semi final anyway. It's Ratoaths title to lose you'd imagine

I think Kildalkey might pull a perfermonance out of the bag vs trim. Although trim have got their kick up the behind the last day so will be hungry, they always seem to put in their best performances of year v kildalkey over the last 5/6 years. A good Kildalkey prefermonance will be something to build on next year snd bring more young players into senior. Kilmessan I think will beat Kiltale. It would be the making of that team and really put them on track to win a few championships, Ratoath to win at a canter though in a ratoath v kilmessan final .

Saturday:
SHC Kiltale v Na Fianna: Good year for Na Fianna but it ends here. Kiltale by 12
SHC B Clann na nGael v Navan O'Mahonys: bit of a coin flip but I expect CnG to come out on top. Them by 4.
IHC Don/Ash v Kells: if Kells can get Don/Ash into a bit of a scrappy game, they'll win. Ashbourne are a little soft when teams get right up in their face it happened twice against Drumree last year and they got battered in both games same again this year against Kilskyre. But they do have a lot of skillful players. That should be enough. Don/Ash by 3.
Sunday
SHC Trim v Kildalkey - Trim will probably be happier with the extra game but possibly not as happy with the opponent. They should win, but Kildalkey have caused upsets before with their backs against the wall. Trim by 6.
SHC B Dunderry v Longwood - Easiest call of the weekend, Dunderry by 7.
IHC Dunboyne v Drumree - game of the weekend by a distance. Skin and hair flying, Drumree definitely underdogs but that might suit them. They'll need to be disciplined because we've seen Peter's destroy all in front of them bar the brilliant Rathmolyon game. Give me Dunboyne but after extra time by 4.

How do you make out that Dunderry Longwood is the easiest call of the weekend? Longwood won this competition last year, with much the same team and bet Dunderry along the way. They have had 2 full weeks to prepare for this game and I think their experience and heart will see them through. Dunderry have a tendency to fold when facing dogged Dunderry teams like Longwood. They are a slighlty over-rated team IMO. Longwood by 2.

Na Fianna to win by the bare minimum.
Kildalkey v Trim Kildalkey have stumbled in the last 2 matches, but Trim also slipped up against Kilmessan. If Kildalkey can show some bite, they will win. Kildalkey by 3 points.

Was in dunganny last night and the grass that was on pitch 2 was a disgrace for tones and pats. You wouldn't have put a football team on it. Even the night that was in it to play in poor weather conditions and to be put on a pitch like that was a disgrace. Pitch 1 didn't look as bad,I was in middle of both to have a look at both games. Trim Very poor only 2 points in whole game to kildalkey 1.14. Pats and tones wasn't great tones started brilliant moving ball well and great support play but then stood of pats and let them back into game. It was 15 to 10 points with less then ten mins left for pats and tones came back to score 1.05 to pats no score. They will need to improve massively to try trouble Boardsmill.

Kiltale have been pretty impressive imo all year. Solid league campaign and will not hold any fears vs Kilmessan. Question for me is can Kilmessan back up the Trim result with another. I thought the standard that day was poor with a lot of handling errors and poor execution throughout by both sides. They have not beaten Kiltale when the chips are down in an awful long time and to me are still very suspect when things are going against them. Kiltale can exploit that and if they keep their composure they win. Kiltale by 4
Ratoath vs Trim is harder to call. I didn't see the game yesterday so I cannot comment on whether Trim improved for their Kilmessan defeat but with a full team and a performance on the day, they can turn over Ratoath. Won't be much in it though. Ratoath dual players may be under pressure, Trim can focus solely on hurling which to me must be an advantage. Trim by 3

The quarter finals didnt really produce any shocks, outside the margin that Kiltake won by.
Semi finals for me are all one way, Ratoath by 8 to 10 pulling up with no real difficulty, Kiltale by similiar margin but a tougher game than the Ratoath game.
Think Ratoath will retain the Jubliee Cup but Kiltale wont be an easy final for them, assuming they do what i think in the semi final.
Kiltale are the best of the 3 remianing after Ratoath and will be mad to win another Jubliee and could still if everything went right for them in the 2 remianing games, they have youth and expierence but will they have the legs for Ratoath, again assuming they both make it, however all that said i will go with Ratoath to win the Jubliee again,

i had a great feeling about kilmessan beating kiltale a week or so ago but the nearer it gets i would be hard to bet against kiltale. they are playing great stuff, hard to believe that if peter durnin were to win a senior this year it would be his 8th medal and all on the field of play amazing player. hard to see past ratoath but their eye will be off the ball a bit with football final and trim with players back from injury and suspension, i think the quater final extra gae will bring on trim a lot they wont play as poor this time because they know they caant be in second gear this time out and get away with it. i wouldnt rule trim out but rataoth slight favs

Replying To Meathgaalad: "What youth do kiltale have do you mind me asking?" I don't think they have anyone under 30, Kilmessan will have legs on them with their young team, Kiltale lucky to get a poor Na Fianna team in quarters to even get to this stage. Probably a year too early for Kilmessan to win outright but they will pick up one in the next few years when they gained a bit of experience and lose some of their older own contingent.
Bar a big surprise, Ratoath to beat Trim, Kilmessan to beat Kiltale and Ratoath to pick up their second title in a row, just a quality team at the moment ahead of the pack.

Ok not as young as i thiought when i look closer, Adam Murphy 24/25, conor Ryan 23/24 Conorr Mcnally 26 i think, so i guess your right, alot on and beyond the 30 mark, still not a bad team

SHC
Kiltale to beat Kilmessan by 5, think it's going to be closer than many expect but they just have enough quality to get through
Ratoath to beat Trim by 8. Agree with what others are saying above, Ratoath are the best of the four and have enough about them to get by a test.
IHC
Rathmolyon to beat Ashbourne by 6. Ashbourne have had the number of Rathmolyon over last few years in both league and Championship and were good in the quarters against Kells but no test means they're undercooked going against a rested Rathmolyon.
Dunboyne to beat Kilskyre by 7. A big asterisk on this one depending on if the injury rumours about Tom Shine are true. If he's fully fit, it's a lot closer and potentially even an extra time win for K/M. As it is for me, Jason Gleeson rips through for a goal or two to get Peters on the brink of an instant return to Senior.

Replying To trimmer: "Anyone giving Trim any hope on Sunday?" I am! In my view, we're not miles ahead of the rest of the pack like some think and Trim have often had our number recently. We were red hot favourites in the 2020 final (played in 2021) and Trim deservedly walked away as champions (that's still painful). Trim are backed up by a huge amount of underage titles so we definitely can't be thinking that a place in the final is a given.
