He certainly seems to be letting the pressure get to him - more than usual. He is a totally committed and dedicated type but it might be time for him step away.

Probably not. He'll keep ringing around county boards now to try stay relevant. He'll be ringing around other counties now. There'll be some county stupid enough to take him on. Realistically he hasn't had a good year since 2019

Maybe Davy should train the army. He brought a team of killers to the championship this year. Discipline was shocking. Individuals obviously have to take the rap for their own actions. But starting a lad who's been sent off twice already this year should've been a big red flag for Davy and might have made the difference between Liam McCarthy and Joe McDonagh next year.

I'd probably take him back in Wexford in 3-5 years when the next group are ready but only for one contract.

He did a good bit of damage to our development in spite of the bit of success.

I'd love to get talking to him about hurling. I'd learn alot I'd be guessing, I like the way hes continuously trying new stuff, and I always enjoyed going to games where he was managing one of the teams, or watching them on tv, you'd always come away having seen something a little different.

But that's the only reason I'd like to see him down in Wexford though.

He's obsessed. Not a bad fella when he's fairly calm. Listened to a few interviews with him and he can't seem to back away from confrontation. Like he thinks he functions better with a chip on his shoulder and probably wants his players to have chips on their shoulders. Always wants to be busy doing something. It's unlikely he'll ever be mellow or relax a bit but a year off from sport and business might do him some good. Because his family and his mental and physical health are more important than hurling.

His behaviour on the line, in interviews and the way he sets up his teams are all about him.

Hopefully. He's tiresome. This poor me attitude and the constant saying how proud he is of the players in every county he goes to, not to mention the amount of times he says things like no matter what we'll keep going so we will etc etc

I'm sure players see through this nonsense. Antrim were abysmal this year and the buck stops with him. I wonder if he didn't get "expenses" would he be as eager!!!

I'd so love to see him bring Antrim to the fore. There is no doubt that his style is unique to say the least but I'd certainly be giving him another year at it.

I remember when TG4 covered the Antrim hurling championship a few years ago, the standard/fitness/conditioning surprised me for sure. Leave him at it
