All Ireland Football Championship 2025

Poor enough game today. Kerry can't be blamed for that. They were excellent in almost every sector.

Donegal seemed like a team totally out of their depth. They couldn't get to the pitch of the game at all while their decision making was horrendous.

Hopefully next year a team can put it up to Kerry and find a way to get around the Clifford conundrum.

Congratulations Kerry and enjoy your celebrations to the Kerry folk on here. Sign of a great team when different players step up to the MOTM every game. They are no one trick pony team, a great team. Enjoy.

Same as Dublin did for years in Leinster. Kerry and Dublin will still win most AIs but it's not a fair system.

very poor game after one sided semi finals. The quarter finals were poor but people said it was because the 3 weeks in a row. As the season went on games got poorer each round maybe because kerry are miles ahead of everyone.

Hard to remember a season with so many 1 sided games near the business end of the season. This final was over after 10 minutes

There is a GAA bias in favour of Kerry. Example: The Munster championship a free ride for them. And a definite bias against Connacht teams. Galway or Mayo are very equal. But cannot push on and win Sam. Sorry to be negative but today was a horrible game. Not a patch on last year's thriller.

In fairness I think there was an air of sarcasm in that post

Every other province a battle royale? Lol. Leinster championship is the worst of the whole lot. A farce. Don't worry, Dublin will win it again next year.

Yes. Murphy too old to be the fulcrum of the Donegal team. Kerry spotted that. McGuinness seems to train his team to a super level of fitness and athleticism but there wasn't an ounce of tactical nouse or football craft about how Donegal played today. Really poor on the line as well as on the field from Donegal. Jack O'Connor had it figured out and he deservedly bows out on a high.

The Leinster championship certainly wasn't a farce this year. It was very competitive. Credit where credit is due.

I agree that the provincial championship is still very uneven but I don't think it has a much of a bearing on the All Ireland series as it used to.

Ulster is by far the hardest and Donegal still reached the final.

Also to be fair to Kerry, this year they beat Armagh, Tyrone and Donegal (all quite convincingly) on route to lifting Sam.

I think that this year we have to take our hats off to them. They were by far the best team.

Pat spillane back in the 00's called Tyrone style- "Pukeball". Can I say the same about today's game?

Mc Guiness learned nothing from last years All Ireland , Damien Comer was waiting for quick ball in to him on the 14 line but they refused to let the ball in so Galway lost. Michael MURPHY was waiting but no ball coming to him. I am sure Murphy would have got goals if he had to get quick ball lobbed into him. Maybe Iam old fashioned and its not cool anymore

Donegal's championship was only about McGuinness & Murphy. The rest of the team were forgotten about. McGuinness made a cod of himself, letting his ego supersede the team. Donegal supporters only focused on Murphy.
Gaelic football won today and Kerry GAA and their supporters epitomise all that is good about the game - honesty, humility and cohesion. Each person as important as the other

You could be right. I remember though Kerry asking for Dubs to be split in 2 a few years ago. Also Pat Spillane callling Tyrone- "puke ball" after they beat Kerry.

The winning ceremony needs to be freshened up going forward. Its been the same bit of gold ticker take for years now. People are paying big money for 1 game and not even a minor match. How about some day time fireworks from the roof of the Davin, Hogan and Cusack Stands?
