Great win Limerick. Hope you got all the way now. Fine game. The new Gaelic football doesn't even look like a distant relation of the puke that so many teams have served up over the past two 25 years or so!

Well done to the Limerick footballers who amazing year keeps going on. I thought they were gone after 50 mins being 7 points down and with injuries to key men, but fair play they turned it around, they did get some luck but that wouldn't have been enough without belief and the subs played a huge part also. They all contributed, but I though Barry Coleman in particular made a huge impact, including one very important turnover right after we got the second goal, which mean Wicklow couldn't respond straight away.

Limerick have an unbelievable never say die attitude and Jimmy Lee no doubt has a huge role to play in that.

They will be big underdogs against Kildare and the injuries to Righter and Naughton look worrying, but this panel have done Limerick football proud and who knows what can happen on the day. We also owe Kildare one from the 2012 qualifiers when they got a point that they shouldn't have in injury time, to take that game to extra time and ultimately beat us :)
