My first time ever seen a defender score 5 points from play, doesn't happen too often if ever?, great display by Martin o connor, sheehan very good too, forwards weren't great, subs made a huge difference, Lockerroomboy (Wexford) - Posts: 475 - 16/03/2025 08:04:48 2596663 Link 0 |
It was good to see the lads dig deep, though Tipp were out on their feet in the last quarter. Tipp had to win the game and approached it that way, and in fairness to the lads we started they competed pretty well overall. The 3 lads definitely made a difference when they came on ok, but Cian Hughes looks like a young lad with a big future. Martin O Connor was outstanding again, was a big loss the last couple of years. And for a lad who over the years hasn't always looked like he was interested in doing the hard yards, and who is now getting on in years, Ben Brosnans workrate was really impressive also.
