I just see it earlier,no prelim quarter on free to air tv next week..hurling quarters on RTÉ Saturday with tailteann semis on Sunday.. I can't see what is wrong if a county wants to stream their own game if not on any other platform..just watched minor hurling semi on tg4 and again the coverage was top class and a brilliant game. A lot of people aren't in a position to travel to games, give them the option of being able to watch their own county on free to air or on some stream that is available.

Spillane wanting to raise his profile lol? He is probably the most famous face in the country when it comes to football and has been that way for nigh on 50 years now.
He'll be soon able to have a free tv licence btw so I'm sure he's speaking as someone who knows people of his era might not be tech savvy and wouldn't have the knowledge of obtaining gaapaywall to see the games"
Plenty of people of his era and older are tech savvy enough to connect to GAA+ or could be shown how to connect to it."]Have you the stats on that?"]The stats lol? Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics... Indeed.
If you're looking for a stat to counter what is, common sense, I despair."]I'm sure there are many older men from mid 70s onwards living alone who wouldn't have a notion how to turn on a computer or have a smart tv. I know this because I know my neighbours. Maybe 1 in 5 might. And that's before we go into broadband coverage. That is common sense. Lol"]You know your neighbours.... good lad.
Meanwhile the rest of us just get on with it and help others to get on with it. Progress doesn't stop and should never stop for the few.

Contention. Slower moving because there's more users trying to access the server at the same time.
