The fixtures have been announced for 2025. Kerry have Kildare (A), Carlow (H), Laois (A), Down (A) and Westmeath (H). legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 8385 - 05/12/2024 22:23:07 2582565 Link 0 |

Can't rule out 1 of the other counties going on a good run either though.

Down have yet to finish above 5th. Just not the form that would have Down as favourites nationally. Kildare will look to threaten Kerry and Down's McDonagh status. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 8385 - 06/12/2024 09:02:29 2582589 Link 2 |
Kildare will finish strong of that I'm sure.

Would you go away with your cute hoor Kerry codswallop. You went on with that speel last year and a hugely fired up Kerry beat a dozy Westmeath in Mullingar.Any of the six are capable of winning it. We have 3 away games in Laois,Kildare and Kerry and if we start as badly as last year will be out after two rounds. Laois favourites and then Carlow,Kerry, and Westmeath to fight out a place in the final.Anybody who disrespects Down and Kildare will get a bloody nose. A great competition getting better quality wise every year. jobber (Westmeath) - Posts: 1611 - 07/12/2024 10:03:47 2582699 Link 3 |
It's one of the best competitions the GAA has. In Football or Hurling.

Kerry v Westmeath was the perfect storm in Kerry's favour. We were fortunate against Down. Offaly and Laois had a comfortable margin against Kerry. Beating Westmeath in Round 1 is not clouding my judgement.
