You'll find they are getting very well compensating for stepping up, its the internal selectors and kit men that deserve a clap on the back as they attend the same number of training sessions and matches with very little reward. Except they're not going to work! what does a team manager do that the selectors dont do, they attend every training session, every game, the kit man does a lot more that any of them as well and at club level, the selectors and kit men are merely volunteers, giving up their free time for their club and their love of the GAA.
