The 2 against Dublin on the other hand, especially the 1st one, were poor ones. The second one the free should've been delayed by the forward, and also the referee should've made it be taken again. Yes I agree about Jippo. He needs to get into the swing of things before we meet the so called big boys. However if he's not 100% fit it would be silly to chance him and maybe causing him to miss our next games. We simply can't afford that. Most on here seem to think that Simon Donoghoe might be better at midfield. I would go along with that and Foley and patsy in the corners assuming Jippo plays. The half backs then might be best served with Mcguicken Damien and Richie. Midfield could be Hearne and as I said, Simon. The six forwards in no particular order I would go with are Rory, Chinner, Cian Byrne, Foley, Cathal Dunbar and Casey. Of course on reflection there might be a case for including Shane Reck instead of Patsy due to his experience at this level. Subs bench could be Eoin Ryan, Corey Byrne Dunbar, Jack Redmond, Tucker Kinsella Mike Kelly,Darragh Carley, Darren Codd and Kennedy as sub goalkeeper. This might be a potential banana skin for us. Davy will have Antrim ready. They most definately won't fear us but with home advantage and a big Wexford following I think we might have too much in the tank for them. We cant afford to lose him again so we need to make sure to only start him if he is ready. Id expect Jacko to start if hes fit to be honest probably over Casey. I agree with you Simon has to be midfield think he is way more suited to there. Hopefully there is a big Wexford following hard to know with it being a Saturday at 2 plenty of people could be working or away for Easter weekend. Yes they beat us last year but we totally dominated them for most of the game the panicked. They had a rally in the second half in the park in 23 but we hammered them for 45 minutes then switched off. I'm not saying we've a right to win. We'll need to perform but if we play for 70 minutes we'll win this game and there's no two ways about it. I think it fanciful people starting Molloy in their line-ups when he has had very little gametime up to now in the league, for whatever reason. I feel the following is pretty nailed on, provided they roll the dice on Jippo. Fanning S.Reck L.Ryan E.Ryan C.Foley D.Reck McGuickan Hearne Donohoe (in a Cathal Malone enforcer role) Jacko Chin Lawlor Cian ROC K.Foley I do believe Jippo is the only back I named above that is least likely to start, hence why I moved Lawlor up a line or two (he will start). I'd pick the same 15 as you, though I doubt Keith will. Who would you put Mac in instead of, and what would you say to him to make sure he chases his man back if he's carrying the ball out? Galway last year? They were poor alright but definitely the best we've hurled in the last 5 years for a full game I think, even with 14 men for the last 20 mins. Every team will have a purple patch in a game. I'd define switching off a little differently. To me it's when you suddenly stop doing the things that are working for you with no explanation. Galway or Carlow last year? Carlow got a.few scores in a row vefore half time but ya couldn't call it "switched off" I'd love to see us just go get the job done on Saturday with no fuss. It's a team we should beat. Antrim will be up for it etc. But if we can't beat them at home then we have no business thinking of Leinster finals.
