Fantastic achievement. Hard luck to them on coming up short in the final. Good steps forward

If anyone had anything to get mad about with the Ulster Junior Championship, it is how a Derry team who play Senior grade against Senior teams like Slaughtneil can drop to Junior. Anyways, it is what it is

Fair play East Cavan. A lot of work since 2009 to start at the very bottom and bring through teams from U8s upwards until they had a Senior team. A few bad beating at Senior initially, but got their first this year. they've a serious team and will learn.

Mullahoran made an Ulster League final in 2006 but lost to Bredagh, and got to an Ulster Championship semi replay in 2008 but lost to Lisbellaw (should have won the first day). Could't just get over the line. Hopefully a Cavan team soon breaks this glass ceiling. They'll likely get out again and repeated attempts might help, and maybe not such a strong team as Ballinascreen
