I'd be happy if we retain our D2 status. Anything else would be a bonus. Tough division this one. Monaghan & Roscommon will be strong.

Monaghan will be weak, I'd be looking down not up!

Hope so. We're said to be away to Cork and will likely need an overnight stay. Seanfanbocht (Roscommon) - Posts: 1990 - 13/11/2024 18:47:05 2579562 Link 0 |
We are in a funny spot as likely to struggle again this year being in obvious transition. Although if we had our strongest team available we wouldn't be too far off promotion. That is unlikely through and fact lots of local derbies in this division means we are all likely to take pts off each other allowing roscommon or cork take full advantage I'd wager. I'd be happy with survival a few wins as had hardly any last year to build confidence. seanie08 (Monaghan) - Posts: 1848 - 15/11/2024 20:06:04 2579800 Link 0 |
Nothing wrong with ardee for county league games. Good playing pitch aswell.

Interesting way of putting it Seanie08 regarding your theory on the local derbies. Good point.
