Dublin's football championship is inter county player friendly. 3 group games and no more than 3 knockout games. Down here we have Castletown v Gusserane in the final. A repeat of the 2019 final which Castletown won. Gusserane then knocked Castletown out in the QF in 2021, while Castletown won last year's match up between the 2 at the SF stage. Hopefully that would make it Gusseranes turn to win this year!!!! Although same weekend as our county hurling final which promises to be another Crokes/Fianna epic so possibly not. Football final on Sunday between Crokes footballers (no end to them!) and Cuala should be good, Nothing against Crokes but would love to see Cuala stopping them winning four in a row! Might be one or two peripheral panel members but can't think of any off top of head. Not huge crossover between their hurling and football at adults. Crokes are a semi professional team If the GAA had balls they would investigate them and relegate them.
