How many supporters from Cork and Clare are going to be in Croker for the AI hurling final ? I guess that there will be more Cork than Clare supporters at the game

Watching Up for the Match. Looking forward to this game. Cork should win by 5-6 points with a bit to spare. Would it fitting if JBM was allowed to present the cup to Hoggie. Looking forward to the homecoming victory Monday night.

I think this current crop of players have the potential to win a couple of all Irelands for Cork. For now though i'd settle for breaking the almost twenty year drought on Sunday.

All Irelands are a lot harder to win imo since the round robin format came in. In 1999 we only played four games to win the all Ireland.

We've had to play eight games to get to the final this year! Clare are a good team but if this team strikes form like it did against Limerick, then we're going to win. I'm certainly expecting a cracker of a game here! Yop the Rebels

It should be a good game. For the sake of the sport it will be good not to have Limerick on it but they'll be back.

It's mad that I find myself rooting for one of the big three in this. I'd have great admiration for Cork hurling and I do fancy them to win. Going this long without an ai is mad for Cork.

Good luck to both Clare and Cork. Nothing like waking up on All Ireland final morning and heading up the road. May the best team win.

Yerra man, Tipp Kilkenny and Cork won seventeen out of 18 up to 2016. Cork have at least five times the Hurling Population of Clare. I am glad the Banner is flying.

Awww, Mr Oldtourman. It breaks my heart that you have such a dislike for Cork. The poor old Rebel county is despised by all and sundry. Wonder if that's carried through to the referees, we seem to be refereed differently. We probably got the most red cards this year as well. We'll pay for winning all those all Ireland's… mark my words. ( just jesting Mr Oldtourman)

The Rebel county is far from "poor old"!

A dislike for Cork, ah not at all. Just I feel that with 30 All Irelands to Clares five and 600,000 to support them Clare were more entitled to our backing.

And that is the nuts and bolts of it.

Some Cork lads take it very personally when others go against them but it is because they have won so much. Nothing annoys me more than the term the big 3 or a traditional hurling county. Are people implying Clare are not a traditional hurling county. Pure nonsense.

I'd be happy enough if Cork, Tipp and KK won nothing for the rest of my days

Wonder if referees also feel like you do? That's the nuts and bolts of it. You won't be happy though, as the likelihood of Cork, KK, or Tipp winning nothing is remote. Anyway congratulations again on your all Ireland as it was a great game!

Congrats on your recent All Ireland win. You are correct saying that hurling is played in many counties outside the big 3 hurling counties. In the last 40 years, a lot of smaller/ new counties have won the All Ireland hurling title, apart from Cork, Tipperary, Kilkenny. That is good for hurling if more counties contend for the Liam Mc Carthy trophy.

It was refreshing to see a new pairing in the AI Final this year, same as Galway v Armagh in Sunday's Football Final.

Absolutely.., New pairing, new styles, and the occasion lived up to the hype. Cork lost but watching it, I felt proud of the team and the fact that they died with boots on! That's the bottom line!

I was out on the Saturday night

Few drinks with old friends in the Bleeding Horse

Place was busy with Cork and Clare fans, really good atmosphere in there.

A great feeling of festival and craic

Good skins one and all
