P. Joyce on Galway sideline very slow to make changes. He should have taken Walsh off, and put somone else on frees. Armagh well done- but very lucky.

Huge congrats to Armagh & commiserations to Galway. Far from a classic, in fact for long stretches the seagul getting hit was the most entertaining thing about the game. But Armagh won't care as they are deserved champions!

Fascinating game, huge intensity, wonderful scores, fantastic atmosphere,

Soft Galway again be it football or hurling. Happy to be gallant losers. Comer, Finnerty and Walsh should retire now, not o e showed up today.

Armagh weren't lucky at all really.
Just about deserving winners in a poor ish contest.
Galway seemed a bit panicky towards the end, indicating a good armagh game plan.

Look at the population of Armagh

Then consider their playing population..

Not so long ago we were being told that days like today were over, etc etc etc..

Armagh didnt go through managers like popcorn at the cinema.. and their clubs didnt throw out McGeeney.. ahem..

There are no excuses from certain counties to be so poor at the moment

This win for Armagh today is very lofty stuff and is hugely significant as to what can be achieved.

If you listned to the doom merchants, and they know who they are, today wouldnt be a reality.

Well done Armagh, is that the football over or is there anything else left for an Ulster team to win?

I'd have to agree.

As Jarlath Burns said, this victory and this day is for all the underage coaches, all the jersey washers, all the tea makers around the country.

Jarlath couldn't have made the same speech with any level of integrity if Dublin's millions had won the day again, but what Armagh have shown today is that every once in a while, hard work and determination, belief and sense of purpose can make dreams come through.

An example to many to keep the faith.

We turned Armagh over so many times in second half but couldnt make it count at the other end. Some poor shots and some terrible decision making with final pass. Why did we leave it so late to press up and make their keeper go long? Why was Tierney pushed into CF for Finnerty? Walsh was outside the range today so why did he keep shooting from that distance? Anyway a tough defeat to take but congrats to Armagh, they took their scores and thats the name of the game.

Nothing lucky about it

Armagh scores all from play, and some exceptional long distance scores

Theres no talking to some people. Ever since they beat Dublin, they think there some great team, even though noone had them as contenders earlier in the year.

Listen Galway deserved it on the day against Dublin and thet went onto beat a good Donegal side

So they deserved to be where they were, but all credit to Armagh, they didn't give some of Galwayd big game forwards a sniff..

It's been a long while since I've seen a team NOT have a single goal chance.. not one shot, not one sniff of a goal.. zippo.

It was a remarkable feat by the Armagh defense and a crazy stat, Galway didn't get even close to creating a dangerous goal opportunity

Armagh completely starved them and then they in turn kicked some absolute top drawer long range efforts

Well done Armagh. Unlucky Galway. Not the greatest spectacle but in the end Armagh's bench again made a telling contribution. Well played to both sides who gave it their all. Unfortunately there can only be one winner.

Fair play to the Galway fans outside the ground, very magnanimous and gracious.
