I see the interest in this competition is very low and rightly so. I think this competition could be repurposed as a third tier cup down the line. Let the oversea's team e.g. All British champions and USGAA enter at quarter/semi stage like NY in the Tailteann cup. If anything I preferred it when it was county second string teams or pulled from counties junior clubs only. Dunno if it is a good use of resources bringing teams over from UK/USA for. Do not get me wrong, I am all for inclusiveness but I read the other day about how the GAA are playing 2nd/3rd tier competitions in Croke Park at a loss so eventually they will not be played there any more gaelsboy (Leitrim) - Posts: 499 - 01/07/2024 14:21:50 2556268 Link 0 |
Fair play to ya legendzxix for eye updates. Question: What's the format of this year's competition? Why is there a quarterfinal? How did Warwickshire and Kilkenny qualify for the competition? Tacaí Liatroma (Leitrim) - Posts: 1093 - 05/07/2024 00:15:54 2557000 Link 1 |
