Replying To katser:  "You were very unlucky with the predictions, Galway 1pt, Kerry 8pts."
I just fancied Galway to pip it today.

How has this been turned into a football discussion?canuck if it had happened to Waterford keeper I'm pretty sure Davy and many others would have blown a fuse..it's just I couldn't figure why ref was actually between Bennett and goals..it was brilliantly taken so I don't think hogan had any hope anyway.Canuck I feel prunty was a huge loss, any news on his injury?I thought Davy might have erred a small bit with a few changes towards end of match..ye have two very difficult games left..I'm hoping we can knock cork out next weekend.I'd be hoping ye get a result in Ennis, which I'd be thinking would leave cork/tipp on last weekend meaning nothing for cork..

If Kerry had won by 1 more point you would have got top marks 10pts in the Predictions Competition.

I was asked a question and answered as it is mannerly. You can get back on topic now. As I said in a previous post the Munster Hurling Championship is thrilling and a massive selling point for the sport. Every point fought for. Every game really hard fought. Every game a serious battle. At this time of year its hard to beat.

Yes it was terrible positioning and anyone would be fuming. What do you think about the elbows to the head ? And no action. The one that injured Darragh Lyons who does not lie down. Actually the other one was worse as it was a fly bye with intent to hurt. I don't think Cahill can have too many complaints as their goal was a square ball and he should have been short handed as much as I hate cards but consistency.
I believe Prunty not too serious. Taken off a precautionary with his injury history. I don't know how Davy could leave Mahoney on so long in both games with a prolific scorer like Curran on the bench and the two young Fitzgeralds.
I hope if ye win on Sunday ye might consider cutting us some slack LOL.

If we beat Cork it actually could have a big bearing on who comes out of Munster.. Would we rest a lot of players V Waterford? Quite possibly.
play a fringe team which gives you a much better chance of winning in the Gaelic Grounds.
The permutations are all over the place still. But a Limerick win could see Waterford making a Munster final depending on your results v Clare.
Next weekend will be interesting to say the least!

Munster championship might live up to the hype, when Cork can win a game, and Tipp get really competitive again. Even then, it might need Limerick to come back to the pack too, in order to really justify the 'competitiveness hype' about this particular championship.

Just to clarify, if you put a tenner on that double, you will lose a tenner

Great battle this evening. Cork so close to going out and end up winning like that should stand them well now. Confidence and momentum should see them past Tipp from what I've seen so far. Well and truly back in the championship now the rebels. Well done!

I thought Cork were gong to lose out, but what a comeback, 2 points down with time almost up. Cork score a penalty, and a late point to win by 2 points. The Munster championship is back n the meltng oot.

Cork needed that win. Referee this week Stack was excellent, and he let the game flow. No sending offs and no controversy! O' Donoghue's sending off against Clare was harsh and 14 yellow cards? Come on!!!

What a game and what a championship. Well done to Cork. That's a bad result for Tipperary. Corks tails will be up for next week. The permutations would boggle your mind

Credit to both Cork and Limerick for a great game. It had everything. One thing that I really liked was that there was no diving and no mouthing back to the ref. Both teams gave the belts, took the knocks, got up and got on with it.

So much could still happen yet. Limerick could lose to Waterford and still qualify for AI. We'll all know on May 28.
