I don't agree with one of the greatest Kerry teams of all time, they had Dublin by the throats twice last year and bottled it so id hold off on that one. As for yesterdays game, I don't know what happened internally in Derry since league win but obviously a split in the camp and was very evident they were not playing for MH yesterday. Any of the 4 remaining could win it, of course Kerry are favourites but I would not be backing them at even money,"]I would agree Kerry are not world beaters. Rushed championship and it families paying the price. On the Derry game, it's a bit unfair people slating Derry. On 55 minutes they were level and lost the ball inside the Kerry 45, Kerry scored and the game was over. Small incidents. Telling a GAA fan to go and find another sport because he rightly calls out the current state of the game is the height of arrogance and not befitting of a gaa fan.

Cian O Neill has a great record as a coach.He was with Cork and managed Kildare during "The Newbridge or Nowhere saga".He was Kerry coach when they won All Ireland in 2014 and he was Tipp coach when they won a Hurling All Ireland.

I agree with your sentiments and reference to gambling in terms of placing money etc.. should be filtered from a GAA forum. However I do think its ok to reference the quoted odds as it is a valid measure of who people in general think are the favourites or otherwise. Like lots of things it's a question of balance between political correctness and freedom of speech. In summary as long as we keep away from references like , "if you place x euro you would make y euro", or "it's like printing money" or any other terms that might encourage gambling . I think its okay to say that Kerry are favourites at such and such a price. I always view the odds on games and championships , but i never place a bet. All you have to do is look at the combined odds on any event and you will realise that the only ones printing the money are the bookmakers.
