Replying To Rossieforever:  "The timing of the Dublin/Galway match is a disgrace. The last train to Galway leaves at about 7:30. Both matches could have been played two hours earlier. It seems to have been scheduled to suit the Dubs fans again"
Correct. Imagine travelling from Clifden, Leitir Mór or dare I say it Oileain Arann (latter homevclub of Sean Mulkerrins). Grassroots and logistics not really relevant in the eyes of some.

Off topic, David Clifford to start moving up the gears tomorrow in a more balanced Kerry attack. But no Derry player will make it easy for them or give away too many scoreable frees. Have they left their trough behind to peak again? Potentially the game of the weekend.

There are over 600,000 people attending events all over Dublin this weekend. Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Jane's Addiction are all playing outdoor gigs, over 60,000 marching at Pride and thousands more attending, 50,000 - 60,000 at Croke Park. The whole city is gridlocked today so the Dubs - Galway game time is only a small piece of the jigsaw. There's probably more people travelling from the west to gigs than to football. Hardly "accommodating the Dubs". Iarnrod Eireann should have way more trains on for all events.

These quarter finals should be in Thurles. And they should be at 2 and 4pm both days.

Terrible scoring in the first half. Armagh 1-3 to Roscommon's 4 points.

Armagh through to the semi-finals. Roscommon seemed to be lacking a bit of energy after the last two weeks.

No.The Tyrone Dublin game was a week after the Kerry Galway game and the floodlights were on for both games.

I should add it was the first time fllodlights came on for a gaa championship game. They were on for a league game between Dubs and Tyrone maybe before Kerry Galway championship game.

In fairness to Galway great second half really out the pressure on Dublin. To keep Dublin to 16 points is a great effort. Sadly looks like Shane Walsh done a hamner . Hopefully not as bad as it looked as they have every chance now .

Brilliant from Galway, congratulations. We're not as invincible anymore, that's for sure.
Teams will believe in themselves more.
The championship is wide open once again, and not just for this year!
The way it should be.

Congrats to Galway. Brilliant second half display. Well deserved win. Dublin looked gassed and out of ideas. Very similar to 2021. Championship blown wide open now.

Just out of interest if Derry win tomorrow I assume its an open draw for the semi-final as Derry, Galway and Armagh were in the same group. If Kerry win the only possible draw should Donegal also win is:

Kerry vs Armagh
Galway vs Donegal

A beautiful tribute to Michael O'Muircheartaigh before the Dublin v Galway game and a great round of applause afterwards. He would definitely loved the skills, the intensity and the drama from the game today.

All I see over on the Galway forum is Mayo this and Mayo that. The obsession continues, time everyone stopped talking about us. We will see where the lie of the land is after this coming weekend."
Galway did what Mayo couldn't.

Many congrats Galway.

Fully deserved.

Best of luck in the semi and hopefully a final.

Hopefully ye or Donegal can win it now.

Cant see Derry winning their 1/4 final tomorrow at all tbh.

Well done to the Tribesmen - but dont celebrate just yet - more work to do.
