Mayo look very short of ideas. In big trouble unless something changes quickly.

Horrible for Mayo, again. Derry may possibly turn a corner here.

A day of shocks!! Tyrone and Mayo knocked out. Monaghan have Galway a good game.

RTE broadcasting and waffling about league games, provincial games, and round robin games since last January, and then don't cover 4 championship eliminators today. Daft.

Exciting stuff today.Low scoring but edge of the seat stuff
A tough way to exit on penalties.Ironically since the group stage Derry have lost two games and progress to a quarter final and Mayo lost no game and are out.Congrats to Derry and great credit to them aftwr being written off by many.Well done Mickey Harte too.A two fingers to his critics.Hard luck on Mayo who as usual were involved in such an entralling contest. Also congrats to Roscommon on a great win.

The national broadcaster showing Belgium and Romania while our national sport is behind a paywall. It is a disgrace

Hard luck to our neighbours Mayo. I'll never warm to a penalty shootout and a shame all we didn't have three Connacht teams in the last 8.

" we haven't gone away you know"
That was the quote on the Mayo blog all week..
Building them up because they posed a draw against Dublin operating at 50%.
Mayo had their All Ireland last Sunday..

They have gone away now....

True and I just heard Kevin McStay being interviewed. He obviously very disappointed but really gracious in defeat and comes across as a real Gentleman.

Honestly, just another tight gamethey had the edge on towards but could not see it out. Heartbreaking but the show goes on. Wonder will O'Connor and O'Shea finally call it a day
