I think the penny has finally dropped among certain Clare Supporters that this Limerick team is better than Clare at everything.. not by much but by enough. They are smarter , work harder , more ruthless, better coaching , just all round better. It's taken along time for that penny to drop with some. Fingers was saying 'Clare never fear Limerick "..well fingers we shoud have resoect for them.I say that because there should be no arrogance in our Clare side. We've won nothing but we could still win an All Ireland.

Time to tell Rodgers as good as he is that he can't be missing open goal chances. My granny would have put that away. McCarthy thank you for your service. He has to be benched. Reidy starts for me everytime. Id tell Shanagher be ready for the 45min..you ll be on.

Cleary doesn't need to foul so much. The guy is clueless . A junior hurler . He's a liability. Id drop him. Malone and Lohan..? We can have one of them but not 2. McInerney was terrible.. Conlon..last year for him. Can't move. And let's not forget TK...he was shocking . Should have been taken off. The 2 missed frees...just no. Drop em in..do something clever. Put Duggan on the frees...it might stop.him climbing all over fellas in the first 10 mins of matches if he has that responsibility. Shane O Donnell is a saint ..I dunno how he listens to lohan or look around at greedy eejits like McCarthy and Fitzgerald

You appear to be going through an identity crisis. Are you from Clare this week.
Give us all a break.

He's probably the sort of lad who would end up in a fight and getting barred after a few drinks. He's hard enough to listen to without them:-D

U17 hurlers put in a great shift yesterday beaten by a slicker Kilkenny team was not happy with the referee at all let some rough tackles go there was a fair bit of body checking and shouldering going on off ball.

But overall no massive complaints won 5 out of 7 matches but no silver wear fair play to BOC and his backroom huge improvement in our underage over last few years hope this management go on to U20

Big Clare crowd there again yesterday

Any word on senior camp for Saturday? Do we think any changes are likely? Doubtful but a shakeup is needed

What changes would you make? Midfield maybe, but who would you play? Reidy back in the forwards possibly (for McCarthy?)? I am also a big fan of Ian Galvin, but I just don't see who would make way.

Would love to see shangher get a chance even at half time. Not been given any game time at all. Swap out darragh Lohan with David reidy, Lohan has had a decent year but can't justify keeping him on field of play in comparison to players like reidy who was left out last week. I also agree I'd like to see galvin start ahead of McCarthy. we need to be quicker to make changes when things arnt working. If we are going to give players a chance to step up and win their position it needs to be now. I'd be open to take a gamble with the goal keeper too. Puck outs were absolutely shocking last week. Quilligan looks nervous in goals and other teams are fast catching on

How about giving morey a start at midfield,id play shanaher or reidy or possibly both..I'd leave McCarthy out for this one. I'd leave Kelly on bench and bring him on with 20 to go..reck will love another man marking job on him..quilligan looks very nervous but think Lohan will probably stick with him..it's a tricky match for Clare but think ye will pull through by 4/5 points..

It is a very tricky match and I would agree changes should be made Shanagher is getting no time play him at 10 and move D Fitzgerald to midfield because he cant or wont contest high balls Reidy is a great man for breaking ball and he should never be dropped.

Probably wont change goalie a this stage but puckouts and occasional blunders from current custodian can we have Nicky for the day

Get Duggan back on frees and leave him on them too

It's a real mystery why Fitzgerald is so poor under the high ball. He's a phenomenal peripheral player feeding off breaking ball but as a 10 at the top level he needs to do more. I think midfield needs a shake up for clare and Reidy should start every game ye play i agree. O Donnell to start 10 and swap him in and out for me

I would agree with you. Lee Chin is on form and it will give John Conlan some job to keep him under wraps. Reidy would be a huge help to Conlan in breaking up the Wexford attack and I would definitely be putting him in from the start for that reason. He would also cover ground if the ball is turned over when Fitzgerald is on one of his mazy runs up field. Also I can't understand what Brian Lohan has against Aaron Shanagher. He is a fine player and always causes trouble for defences when introduced.

I think it will be tight but Clare pull away at the end and will win by 3 points setting them up nicely for another crack off Kilkenny.

If Clare and Cork win. Will Clare be playing Kilkenny?
