Replying To Lockjaw:  "No bother.

Just to reiterate, scoring is as follows:

- predict the winner but with incorrect winning margin = 1 point
- predict a draw = 3 points
- predict the winner with the correct winning margin = 5 points

I know that in terms of probability, predicting a draw in a GAA match is more difficult, and perhaps I should have offered more points for those who predict that event. But it's the way I set up my system at the start and so I've jsut left it at that. Others have suggested to me that I should offer weighted scores, e.g. if you predicted Mayo to win by one point last weekend that should equal 10 points, if you had them to win by 2 points then that should equal 9 points etc etc

A feasible thing to do, but it would mean me having to probably set up a website separate from HS for users to input their scores and some logic in it to auto-calculate week on week. Something I just don't have time to do unfortunately.

Anyways, a weekend off for me this week!

I'll post a separate thread some day next week for Week 3 NFL predictions.

Thanks to all for your participation."

Yeah, that would be class. I used to do that allianzleaguepredictions when it was up and running, it was class, but obviously a lot of work.

Is anyone participating in fantasygaelicfootball comp organised by the club in Tyrone? It's very good craic for £10 Stg.
