The mess Donegal was in the last few years you couldn't blame people for not going, it was so boring the way we were playing, people have better things to do with their money and time than watch fellas passing over and backways with no real end product, thankfully now we are playing attractive attacking football again and reaping the rewards of it too. Ye love to use the word bandwagon to dismiss some sectors of your own fan base. Why? No body checks a list as you enter the ground and if you haven't attended "x" amount of games or specific games before big games that they can't go into the ground. Lose the attitude. Huge difference in Donegal this year, most improved team in the championship…racking up big scores and good to watch. Last Saturday will be a huge boost to Galway football and they will fear no one going forward. Every county has a hard core following but success and going deep in the championship brings the fans out in big numbers. Expect both the hurling and football finals to be a sell out, neutral fans used to pick up tickets for finals but nowadays you find the participating counties just can't get enough of them…all part of the buzz of getting to a final. Both double headers attracted around same crowd last weekend. Really really poor form from the Jacks - what has happened their support? It's actually quite embarrassing for them. No more tickets for Cork Limerick online available. Heading towards sell out. Wow...thats impressive Only twice since 2010 has the semi final in hurling been over 70k. Both times involving Cork. Seems to be sold out. Or is it!! Depends on when you log in. Sometimes there is nothing, sometimes just a few Hill and Nally. Occasionally really bad seats upper tiers. Anyway, was hoping to go but neither appeals at my age so will settle for TV. I hope it is sold out as will be far better atmosphere than final as sure to be full of partisan fans and neutrals with passion for the game. We could be looking at an aggregate of up to 250,000 over two week ends which is pretty good for an amateur sport considering Mayo and Dublin aren't involved. A good journey for all teams involved, can imagine this Sunday's hurling fixture would attract up to 100,000 in a super stadium say around Thurles.
