lol…..typical Kerry (or Kilkenny in Hurling) if there's the slightest lull in the action just before or after the half they pounce on you and punish you with a goal. They did next to nothing all the 1st half but now they lead. Great pass from Clifford. Trump2020 (Galway) - Posts: 2281 - 30/07/2023 16:16:35 2497716 Link 2 |
Did you forget Dublin Tyrone in 2018? 7-5 at HT.

Brilliant game in my opinion. Scores are not the metric of a good game. anotheralias (Galway) - Posts: 960 - 30/07/2023 16:20:07 2497718 Link 3 |
Ferocious and Intense says Darragh Maloney. I had to laugh, if Tyrone Armagh or Donegal had been involved in that first half it would have been described as negative, anti football rhubarb rhubarb.

why our they making out fitzsimons has played well on clifford? every time clifford has got the ball he's roasted mick kerry need to get him the ball more and quicker. Yourjoking (USA) - Posts: 730 - 30/07/2023 16:26:15 2497720 Link 1 |
Well at least it's close and I think it will open up in the second half, said it earlier this is going to be a draw. on a side note why can't Eamon Fitzmaurice put a 'the' in front of a noun? ...Dubs ...ball.. ...game etc etc. also and also maybe it's a Kerry thing because of so many O'Shea's there but he keeps calling Sean O'Shea - Seanie Shea? Fitzmaurice is a good knowledgeable commentator but the way he pronounces things is annoying to me anyway. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 3066 - 30/07/2023 16:29:15 2497721 Link 0 |
Important Kerry goal just before the break. Dublin might need a goal to win it. thelongridge (Offaly) - Posts: 1879 - 30/07/2023 16:30:03 2497722 Link 1 |
Second bounce didn't hit the ground, it h hit his foot. Good goal.

Dublin's 'tackling' has been reckless, could have been a red card or two. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9791 - 30/07/2023 16:51:42 2497725 Link 1 |
It did hit the ground

So you just googled what final Tyrone where in that had a similar score at half time? It was a really bad half of football. It's okay to admit that even though Dublin and Kerry are involved. Wally (Tyrone) - Posts: 922 - 30/07/2023 17:05:31 2497727 Link 0 |
From a defensive point of view, it was brilliant from both teams. Conditions obviously limited the attacking a bit, but both teams didn't a good job of limiting the opportunities to the danger men on the respective sides. David Clifford just didn't fire, won his battle with Fitzsimons for sure but just wasted his chances. hyperache (Meath) - Posts: 255 - 30/07/2023 17:08:20 2497728 Link 0 |
One Kerry slip handed it to Dublin. David Clifford was very poor. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9791 - 30/07/2023 17:09:00 2497729 Link 3 |
how did MaCarthy not get 2 yellows..how many fouls and off the ball blocks was he allowed? wishfulthinkin (Cavan) - Posts: 1721 - 30/07/2023 17:10:40 2497731 Link 4 |
Gough could easily have sent a Dublin player off for consistently dangerous, reckless tackles. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9791 - 30/07/2023 17:10:50 2497732 Link 3 |

An enjoyable All Ireland Final. Congratulations to Dublin job done again. David Clifford was a man missing in action. Not surprised with the Dublin win. cluichethar (Mayo) - Posts: 475 - 30/07/2023 17:12:20 2497734 Link 1 |
Congrats Dublin. Finished the game very strong. Dublin 0-7, Kerry 0-2 in the final quarter. thelongridge (Offaly) - Posts: 1879 - 30/07/2023 17:13:52 2497735 Link 1 |
