Tomsmith for your information Ton Doonan never played for Cavan. His uncle Willie Doonan did. But he was a corner back . Never played full back. Hope that info helps . Paudie Shhehy played left-full forward. His brother Niall was the full-back. John O'Keeffe was the best I ever watched. Had it all: speed, athleticism, strength, skills, brilliant fielder and kicker of the ball. Had the opportunity when on holidays of watching him and Denny Long (Cork) at midfield for a Tralee team.
