Did The Rugby Steal A March On Gaa During Presidents Biden Visit

Tomsmith here
Watching the pictures on the Television I see a Rugby International very prominent during the presidents visit to Dundalk.
Perhaps the local Gaa didn't get an opportunity to have a high profile

ExiledinWex here (just in case)
Yes, they should have had Stephan White from great Louth teams way back when, so the whole world can see Joe Biden and internationally reknown GAA star Stephan White.
Paddy Keenan either. The whole Irish diaspora in the US would have heard of them.

Maybe if the lads had beaten the Black and Tans instead of being shot by them Ol' Joe mightve put more pass on them.

Biden was sent straight to Joe Sheridans house by the Dundalk boys to put him on trial for International war crimes

'Come out ye All Blacks, Come out and fight me like a man' - doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Why would you need a trial. It is quite clear what Joe did. Justice delayed is justice denied.

I prefer Trump over Biden. I don't think it is right to be a fan of someone just because they have some Irish ancestry.

Really Trump ? Makes Al Capone look like a choir boy. It won't be two long until he is togged out like him in an orange jump suit. However most politicians are the same. A bag with s**m on the inside.

You obviously know nothing about Biden. You obviously are easily led by what you read and hear in the media. In what way is Biden better than Trump?

I don't like Trump as a man but Biden's far left agenda isn't something that i would want to be involved in.

Well, off the top of my head:

1. Not on indictment for paying bribes.
2. Didn't instigate a coup:

3. Stands up to Putin instead of hero worshipping him. Trump happily would hand over Ukraine to Putin, whom he describes as a "genius".
4. Has dinner with extreme white supremacists / antisemites, such as Nick Fuentes.

Biden never tried to seize power by storming the Capitol I think, I could be wrong.

That's a bit pathetic Tom. Why make it a Rugby vs GAA thing. Use your own county's Tommy Bowe as an example. He had no problem crossing between sports.
