Replying To MrPBoylan:  "I think Cavan have to be favourites for Lory Meagher. They've brought in a couple of Cuala players from Dublin alongside Nicky Kenny who captained Cuala to an club All Ireland and Canice Maher (Kilkenny), both now living and going out with / married to a Cavan women."
Monaghan starting to motor? Shootout with my own county in Inniskeen on Saturday…

Replying To Bailah:  "Fermanagh were very unlucky in their two games against Donegal & Wicklow. Were on top of Donegal until a red card and only lost by two points to Wicklow. Fermanagh are really punching above their weight in fairness to them this year."
Absolutely. And last year too.

Saturday will tell... Cavan look nailed on after draw with Longford. There is never much between Monaghan and Longford going back the years

Why is it being played in the Cloghan Centre of Excellence?

I don't know. Pitch availability in all likelihood. Football taking precedent maybe...

Hard luck on coming up short. Heard the venue was chosen as preference by the team / management.

A Meath v Derry Ring final. Meath have had to work hard to make the final.

Go raibh Maith agat. I'd say that's where the team trains. Best team won anyway.

€25 for a Rackard final ticket ?

They can keep it.

The McDonagh final is 20 euro. Seems unfair to charge Ring, Rackard & Meagher supporters more when their main intention is to watch their own county.

Saturday 3 June

Christy Ring Cup final
Derry v Meath, Croke Park, 5pm - Sport TG4

Nickey Rackard Cup final
Donegal v Wicklow, Croke Park, 3pm - Sport TG4

Lory Meagher Cup final
Monaghan v Lancashire, Croke Park, 1pm - Sport TG4

Kildare were comfortable winners of the Ring Cup last year. It hasn't been so easy for Meath but they are in the final.

PP has Meath, Wicklow and Monaghan as favourites but surely there'll be one upset?

Monaghan won anyway! Lancashire gave them a good game in the Meagher final.

I thought Donegal would have been favourites. Didn't back them but winning at half time playing against the breeze,

Congratulations to Wicklow on their Rackard success!
The McDonagh final was a standalone final last week after the U20 final was moved. Possibly the McDonagh and Meagher can be one double header. The Ring and Rackard then being a double header a week later. Dónal Óg talks about microwave championships. Three finals in one day is a bit much.

Great to seen Wicklow pick up a national title. In the early 2010s they were very close to a Christy Ring brake trough but it never happened for them.
